Introduction

In order for us to sell products and provide a reasonable level of customer service, it is necessary for us, at times, to obtain and/or store information about our customers.

In particular, during the process of transacting a sale, we are obliged to pass some information to the payment processor to verify your identity. We also collect your e-mail address of the customer at that time, so that we can send a receipt and/or details of how to obtain downloadable software.

Additionally, if in cases where we are selling physical goods, we may need to provide some information to the courier company responsible for actually shipping the goods.

What information do we hold on our customers?

Generally speaking, we may hold any or all of the following information:

• e-mail address
• Postal address
• Telephone number
• Products purchased (and dates/times/amounts of purchases)
• License key information
• Records of contact (for example with technical support staff)

Should you need to change any of this information, please let us know. We are also prepared to provide customers with explicit information about the details we hold on them, on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we will require sufficient information to verify the identity of the customer in question, to prevent identity theft. We may also charge a small fee for this service.

Please note: we do not store credit card details.

Use and disclosure

We will only use the information we hold for the following purposes:

• Processing transactions through our payment processor(s). Please note that our payment processor may transfer your details outside the European Union for the purposes of processing your transaction; check with the payment processor for further details.
• Shipping goods to our customers.
• Informing customers of updates to products they have purchased.

We will not use your details for advertising purposes unless you have explicitly agreed to receive information on new products from us.

Additionally, with the exception of information required by our payment processor(s) and courier(s), we will not provide any customer details to any third party, unless required to do so by law or subject to a request from law-enforcement officers to aid in the investigation of a crime.
